VLM Airlines named Best Regional Airline for Europe
VLM Airlines has been named Best Regional Airline for Europe, in the World Airline Awards 2008.
The World Airline Awards are based on Skytrax's annual World Airline Survey, which was carried out between August 2007 and June 2008, and obtains customer satisfaction levels of over 15 million airline passengers from over 95 nationalities. The survey measures over 35 different aspects of passenger satisfaction for an airline's product and service standards. The awards are renowned for being the only truly global, independent passenger survey of airline standards.

Commenting on the 2008 Best Regional Airline Europe title awarded to VLM Airlines, Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax said "this award is particularly pleasing, in that it demonstrates quality of service and service clearly matter to customers on short haul services. VLM Airlines were strongly supported in this survey category, and were frequently singled out for the high standards of staff service they deliver. The Award is very much a recognition of the those customer-facing staff."
